Kids I classes are reserved for kids between the ages of 5 - 7 and
children who are not yet ready for the Kids II class. The classes are
designed to be a fun active class without the pressures of testing or
belt ranking. Typically the child will learn the martial arts
discipline and moves without the worry of performance or memorizing
sophisticated moves.
Children who move from the Kids I to the Kids II will already have an
idea of the fundamentals which will help them feel part of the new Kids
II class where they start the testing process.
Kids II classes are reserved for kids between the ages of 7 - 12 ,
children who can handle this more sophisticated level of training. The
class teaches kids discipline, etiquette, punches, kicks, takedown and
throws. It gives kids answers to common school yard scenarios.
Children who move from Kids II to the Young Adult classes will begin
their new training at white belt. Though this humbling experience of
starting over at white belt may not be desired it is necessary in order
for the student to grow in this art.
Young Adult classes are reserved for teens ages 13 - 18. This class
will prepare teens for the world of adult classes. The curriculum
emphasizes etiquette, tradition, punches, kicks, takedowns and throws
designed to build a solid foundation of martial arts principles with an
emphasis on real life fighting scenarios.
Again, teens who move from Young Adult classes to Adult classes will be
expected to start their adult training from the white belt status.
Experience has shown us that this method of starting over only enhances
and reinforces one’s training without leaving gaps when introduced to a
more advanced Adult I class.
Adults I classes are reserved for new to intermediate level students.
All adult students start at the Adult I level until their advancement

only.
